How to Apply Perfume for Maximum Projection
Apply fragrance to pulse points and moisturized skin, then layer strategically without rubbing.
Most people apply too much fragrance to compensate for poor technique when they should apply less to better spots.
- Prep your canvas. Apply unscented moisturizer to pulse points first. Fragrance clings better to hydrated skin and projects stronger. Skip this and you're wasting half your bottle.
- Target the heat zones. Spray wrists, behind ears, base of throat, and inside elbows. These pulse points naturally warm fragrance and amplify projection. One spray per point is enough.
- Layer without touching. Let each application dry completely before adding more. Rubbing fragrance breaks down the top notes and kills projection. Patience builds presence.
- Add strategic backup spots. Light spray on hair ends, behind knees, or on clothes from 6 inches away. These create scent trails as you move and extend wear time.
