How to Decant Perfume for Travel

Transfer perfume to a small atomizer using a funnel or syringe to avoid airport restrictions and protect your bottles.

Decanting is for people who travel smart, not people who want tiny versions of everything they own.

1. Choose your vessel. Get a travel atomizer under 100ml with a removable top or filling hole. Glass is best for preservation, but metal works for short trips.
2. Clean everything first. Rinse your atomizer with rubbing alcohol and let it air dry completely. Any residue will muddy your scent.
3. Transfer carefully. Remove the spray top from your perfume bottle and use a small funnel or syringe to fill the atomizer. Work slowly to avoid spills and air bubbles.
4. Seal and test. Replace the atomizer cap firmly and test the spray mechanism. Wipe down the exterior to remove any fingerprints or residue.
