How to Use Color Depositing Conditioner

1. Start with freshly washed hair. Shampoo your hair as usual and squeeze out excess water until it's damp but not dripping. Color depositing conditioner works best on clean, slightly wet hair because the cuticles are open and ready to receive pigment.
2. Apply from mid-length down. Squeeze a generous amount into your palm and work it through your hair starting at the mid-lengths and focusing on the ends. Avoid your roots unless you specifically want to add color there—the hair closest to your scalp processes faster.
3. Distribute evenly with a wide-tooth comb. Use a wide-tooth comb to ensure even distribution and prevent patchy color results. This step is crucial—uneven application means uneven color deposit.
