How to Create Perfect 60s Flip Ends
Use a large round brush and blow dryer to curl hair ends outward, then set with hairspray for that signature Jackie Kennedy flip.
- Prep damp hair. Start with towel-dried hair and apply a volumizing mousse from mid-length to ends. Your hair should be about 80% dry for best control.
- Section and position. Part your hair as desired and work in 2-inch horizontal sections. Hold your large round brush underneath each section at the ends.
- Flip technique. Wrap hair around the brush rolling outward and away from your face. Blast with hot air while slowly pulling the brush down and out to create the flip.
- Cool and set. Hit each section with cool air to lock the shape, then mist with strong-hold hairspray. Don't touch until completely cool.
