How to Do a Ceramic Round Brush Blowout
Start with damp hair, section it, and pull the ceramic round brush through each section while directing the blow dryer down the hair shaft for smooth, voluminous results.
- Prep damp hair. Towel-dry hair until it's 70% dry, then apply heat protectant from mid-length to ends. Your hair should be damp but not dripping wet.
- Section strategically. Divide hair into horizontal layers starting from the bottom. Clip upper sections away and work with 2-inch wide sections for best control.
- Position and pull. Place the ceramic round brush under each section at the roots, then pull it through while following with the blow dryer nozzle pointing down the hair shaft. Keep constant tension without yanking.
- Cool and set. Once each section is dry, blast it with cool air while the brush is still wrapped around the hair. This locks in the smoothness and adds shine.
