Orange Eye and Lip Combo
Orange works when you balance warm tones with the right undertones and keep one feature slightly more muted than the other.
- Prep your canvas. Prime lids and exfoliate lips. Orange shows every texture flaw, so smooth bases are non-negotiable. Use a lip balm that absorbs completely.
- Choose your hero. Pick either eyes or lips as your main event. If going bold on eyes, choose a burnt orange or terracotta. For statement lips, go true orange or coral-orange.
- Build eye color gradually. Start with a peachy transition shade in the crease. Layer orange from the lash line up, blending edges. Keep it softer if your lips will be the star.
- Perfect your lip application. Line lips with a shade that matches your natural lip color. Apply orange from the center outward. Blot and reapply for longevity.
- Connect with neutral ground. Use warm bronze on cheeks and a golden highlight to tie the look together. This prevents the orange from looking disconnected from your face.
