How to Make Your Brows Sweatproof
Layer waterproof products from lightest to heaviest and set with clear brow gel or setting spray.
- Start with clean, dry brows. Remove any oils or skincare residue with micellar water on a cotton swab. Dry skin grips product better than oily skin.
- Apply waterproof brow pencil first. Use light, hair-like strokes to fill sparse areas. Waterproof formulas bond to skin better than regular pencils and resist moisture.
- Layer with brow powder if needed. Pat powder over pencil work with an angled brush for extra coverage. The powder absorbs oils that could break down the base layer.
- Set with waterproof brow gel. Brush clear or tinted waterproof gel through brows in upward strokes. This creates a protective barrier against sweat and humidity.
- Lock with setting spray. Mist setting spray on a small brush and gently pat over brows. This final step seals everything in place for hours.
