How to Make Your Brows Sweatproof

Layer waterproof products from lightest to heaviest and set with clear brow gel or setting spray.

  1. Start with clean, dry brows. Remove any oils or skincare residue with micellar water on a cotton swab. Dry skin grips product better than oily skin.
  2. Apply waterproof brow pencil first. Use light, hair-like strokes to fill sparse areas. Waterproof formulas bond to skin better than regular pencils and resist moisture.
  3. Layer with brow powder if needed. Pat powder over pencil work with an angled brush for extra coverage. The powder absorbs oils that could break down the base layer.
  4. Set with waterproof brow gel. Brush clear or tinted waterproof gel through brows in upward strokes. This creates a protective barrier against sweat and humidity.
  5. Lock with setting spray. Mist setting spray on a small brush and gently pat over brows. This final step seals everything in place for hours.
