Transfer-Proof Lip Application

Layer liquid lipstick over liner, blot, powder, and reapply for lips that stay put through everything.

  1. Prep the canvas. Exfoliate lips with a damp washcloth and apply a thin layer of lip balm. Let it absorb for five minutes, then blot excess with tissue. Clean lips grip color better than slippery ones.
  2. Line and fill. Use lip liner to trace your lip shape, then fill in the entire lip area. This creates a grippy base that prevents feathering and extends wear time.
  3. Apply liquid lipstick. Apply one thin coat of liquid lipstick over the liner using the applicator wand. Work from the center of your lips outward, staying within the lined area.
  4. Set and seal. Blot lips with tissue, dust lightly with translucent powder through the tissue, then apply a second coat of liquid lipstick. This layering technique locks color in place.
