How to Apply Lash Clusters

Map out your placement first, then secure each cluster at the base of your natural lashes with tweezers and lash glue.

Clusters are strip lashes for people who understand that more work upfront means better results—worth it if you have the patience.

  1. Plan your placement. Look at your natural lash line and identify where you want volume. Most faces benefit from clusters at the outer corner and mid-eye, leaving the inner corner natural. Count how many clusters you need before opening any packages.
  2. Prep your base. Apply a thin coat of mascara to your natural lashes first. This creates grip and helps clusters blend seamlessly. Let it dry completely before moving forward.
  3. Size and trim. Hold each cluster against your lash line to check length. Trim from the tips if needed, never the base. Your clusters should enhance your eye shape, not overwhelm it.
  4. Apply the glue. Squeeze a tiny drop of lash glue onto the back of your hand. Dip the cluster base briefly into the glue—excess will create a mess and visible residue.
  5. Place and press. Use tweezers to position each cluster directly on top of your natural lash base, not on the skin. Press down gently for 10-15 seconds until the glue sets.
  6. Blend and finish. Once all clusters are secure, use a clean spoolie to blend your natural lashes with the clusters. Apply one final coat of mascara if needed.
