How to Shape Your Eyebrows Like a Pro
Shape eyebrows by mapping your natural arch, trimming length, and removing hair only below the brow line.
Your brows have a natural architecture that took genetics decades to perfect—your job is editing, not rewriting.
- Map your natural shape. Hold a straight edge vertically against your nostril to find where brows should start. Angle it across your pupil to locate the arch peak. Extend past the outer corner of your eye to find the end point. Mark these spots with concealer.
- Trim the length. Brush brow hairs upward with a spoolie. Trim any hairs extending beyond your natural brow line with small scissors. Cut conservatively and check frequently.
- Remove strays underneath. Pluck only the obvious strays below your mapped brow line. Pull in the direction of hair growth with slanted tweezers. Leave the top of your brows completely alone.
- Clean and assess. Remove concealer marks and brush brows into place. Step back to check symmetry. Make tiny adjustments if needed, always erring on the side of less removal.
