Five-Minute Face That Actually Works

Focus on three zones: even out skin, define eyes, add color to lips.

Five minutes should look like you woke up better, not like you tried for five minutes.

  1. Prep and prime. Moisturizer with SPF first, then a lightweight primer only where you need it. Skip the full-face coverage if your skin is decent.
  2. Even the canvas. Concealer under eyes and on any spots, then blend outward. A light dusting of powder only where you get oily.
  3. Define the eyes. One neutral eyeshadow swept across the lid, quick mascara on top lashes only. Tightline if you have thirty extra seconds.
  4. Add life to your face. Cream blush on the apples of cheeks, blended upward. A lip tint that doubles as blush saves time and looks natural.
  5. Set and forget. Quick spritz of setting spray while makeup is still fresh. Skip the powder touch-up routine.
