First Day Makeup That Says You Belong There
Polished skin, defined eyes, and a lip color you can reapply without a mirror.
- Perfect your base. Use a medium-coverage foundation or tinted moisturizer that matches your neck exactly. Blend with a damp beauty sponge for a skin-like finish. Conceal only where needed—under eyes and any blemishes.
- Define without drama. Fill your brows with small hair-like strokes using a pencil one shade lighter than your natural color. Apply one coat of brown or brown-black mascara to both top and bottom lashes.
- Add subtle dimension. Sweep a matte neutral eyeshadow one shade deeper than your skin tone across your lid and into the crease. Skip shimmer or anything that catches light dramatically.
- Choose your power lip. Go for a lip color that enhances your natural tone—berry for cool undertones, coral for warm. Pick something in a satin or matte finish that won't transfer onto coffee cups.
- Set strategically. Dust translucent powder only where you get oily—typically T-zone and under eyes. Add a touch of cream blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend upward.
