How to Get That Fresh Spring Face
Spring fresh face is about enhancing what you already have with light coverage, warm tones, and a dewy finish that looks like you just stepped outside.
- Prime for dewiness. Skip mattifying primers. Use a hydrating primer or mix a drop of facial oil into your regular primer. This creates the lit-from-within base that makes everything else look effortless.
- Perfect your base lightly. Use tinted moisturizer or foundation mixed with moisturizer for sheer coverage. Spot-conceal only where needed. Your skin texture should still be visible—this isn't about perfection, it's about enhancement.
- Add warmth strategically. Cream blush in peach or coral goes on the apples of your cheeks and blends upward. Use the same shade on your lips for cohesion. Cream products melt into skin and look more natural than powder.
- Define without harsh lines. Brush through brows with a spoolie and tinted gel. Curl lashes and apply one coat of brown or brown-black mascara. Skip liner or use brown pencil very close to the lash line.
- Seal the dewiness. Mist your face with setting spray before it's completely dry. This locks in the dewy finish without disturbing the makeup underneath.
