Inner Corner Dot Detail

Use a small detail brush to place three precise dots of shimmer or liner along your inner corner for an editorial accent that opens the eye.

  1. Map your placement. Look straight ahead in a mirror and mark where your inner corner meets your tear duct. The dots should follow this natural curve, not fight it.
  2. Choose your medium. Cream eyeshadow works best for opacity and staying power. If using powder, pack it onto a synthetic detail brush and tap off excess.
  3. Apply in sequence. Start with the center dot at the inner corner, then place one slightly above and one below. Keep them small and even — think pinhead size, not pearl.
  4. Blend sparingly. Only soften the outer edges if they look harsh. The point is definition, not diffusion.
