How to Create a Glossy Lid That Won't Crease
Prime, set with powder, apply gloss in thin layers, and keep blinking minimal until it sets.
- Prime and powder. Apply eyeshadow primer to clean lids, then dust translucent powder over the primer. This creates grip for the gloss and prevents it from sliding into creases.
- Apply base layer. Pat a thin layer of clear gloss or glossy eyeshadow onto the center of your lid using your ring finger. Work quickly and avoid dragging the product.
- Build gradually. Add more gloss in thin layers, focusing on the mobile lid and avoiding the crease area entirely. Less is more here.
- Set the look. Keep your eyes open and avoid excessive blinking for the first few minutes while the gloss sets. Look down into a mirror instead of closing your eyes.
