How to Do Reverse Wing Liner
Apply eyeliner below the eye instead of above, following your lower lash line and flicking downward.
- Map your line. Start at the outer corner of your lower lash line. The reverse wing should follow the natural curve of your lower lid, not fight it.
- Draw the wing first. Create a small downward flick from the outer corner, angling it toward your temple. This sets the direction for everything else.
- Connect and fill. Draw along your lower lash line from the inner corner to meet your wing. Keep the line thin and precise—thickness overwhelms this look.
- Balance if needed. Add a thin line of mascara to upper lashes or a subtle upper liner to ground the look. The reverse wing should be the star, not competing with heavy top makeup.
