How to Sculpt Cheekbones with Bronzer
Apply bronzer in the hollow beneath your cheekbone, blend upward toward your temple, and highlight the high point for dimension.
Most people place bronzer too low on their face and wonder why they look dirty instead of sculpted—the magic happens in the actual hollow, not on your cheek fat.
- Find your hollow. Suck in your cheeks slightly and feel for the natural indent below your cheekbone. This is where shadow naturally falls. Mark this spot mentally—it's your bronzer placement zone.
- Apply bronzer. Use an angled brush to sweep bronzer from your ear toward the center of your cheek, staying in that hollow. Build slowly with light layers rather than going heavy immediately.
- Blend upward. Diffuse the bronzer upward toward your temple using circular motions. The goal is a subtle gradient, not a harsh line that screams contour.
- Highlight the high point. Apply a subtle highlighter or lighter powder to the actual cheekbone—the raised part you can feel when you press your fingers along your face. This creates the illusion of height and structure.
