How to Set Your Blush Before Application

Set your blush by lightly dusting translucent powder over your cheekbones before applying color to create grip and extend wear time.

  1. Prep the canvas. After foundation but before blush, take a fluffy brush and lightly dust translucent setting powder across your cheekbones. This creates a grippy base that prevents blush from sliding around on oils or dewiness.
  2. Map your placement. While the powder is still fresh, smile to locate the apples of your cheeks and note where you want color. The powder acts as a guide and ensures even application when you add blush.
  3. Apply with confidence. Now apply your blush as normal. The powder base means you can build color gradually without patchiness and the blush will stay exactly where you put it for hours.
