How to Place Sparkle on Your Lids
Pat sparkle onto the center of your lid and inner corner with your finger or a flat brush for maximum impact and minimal fallout.
- Prime the canvas. Apply eyeshadow primer or concealer to your lid and set with translucent powder. This creates grip so sparkles stay put instead of migrating down your cheeks throughout the day.
- Map your placement. Sparkles look best on the areas that naturally catch light. Focus on the center of your mobile lid and inner corner, avoiding the crease where they can look muddy.
- Apply with intention. Use your ring finger or a flat shader brush to gently pat sparkles onto the designated areas. Press, don't swipe, to avoid scattering glitter everywhere.
- Build gradually. Start with less than you think you need and build up slowly. You can always add more sparkle, but removing excess without disturbing your base is nearly impossible.
- Lock it down. Mist a small brush with setting spray and gently pat over the sparkles to seal them. This prevents fallout and keeps everything in place for hours.
