How to Apply White Eyeliner on the Waterline

Use a soft, creamy white eyeliner pencil and gently trace along the inner rim of your lower lash line for instant eye-brightening.

  1. Choose the right formula. Pick a creamy, soft white eyeliner pencil that glides easily without tugging. Gel-based formulas work better than hard pencils on the delicate waterline. Test the pencil on your hand first to ensure it's not too firm.
  2. Prep your eyes. Look up into a mirror so your lower waterline is clearly visible. Gently pull down your lower lid with your non-dominant hand to expose the pink inner rim. Keep your eyes slightly open to avoid watering.
  3. Apply in short strokes. Starting from the inner corner, trace the white liner along the pink waterline in small, gentle strokes. Don't try to do it in one continuous line. Build up the color gradually for even coverage.
  4. Set and perfect. Blink a few times to distribute the product naturally. If the line looks patchy, go back and fill in sparse areas with gentle dabbing motions rather than dragging the pencil.
