How to Create Smiley Face Nails

Use a dotting tool or toothpick to create two small dots for eyes and a curved line for the mouth on a light base color.

1. Prep your base. Apply base coat and two thin layers of yellow, white, or any light shade you prefer. Let each coat dry completely before moving to the next.
2. Create the eyes. Dip a small dotting tool or toothpick tip in black polish and make two small dots in the upper portion of your nail. Keep them evenly spaced and aligned.
3. Draw the smile. Use the same tool to draw a small curved line below the eyes, creating a gentle smile shape. Start light and build up the line if needed.
4. Perfect and seal. Clean up any wonky lines with a thin brush dipped in nail polish remover, then apply top coat once everything is completely dry.
