48-Hour Glow Prep: Pre-Event Skin Prep
Start with gentle exfoliation, hydrate aggressively, and prime your skin barrier so makeup sits beautifully.
Good skin is boring skin. If you're doing anything that feels dramatic or tingles, you're doing too much.
- Day One: Reset. Gentle exfoliation only—a mild chemical exfoliant or soft washcloth. Follow with your usual routine but add an extra layer of moisturizer. Sleep is non-negotiable.
- Day Two Morning: Hydrate. Skip actives entirely. Focus on hydrating toner, serum, and moisturizer. Apply SPF even if you're staying inside—you want zero irritation.
- Day Two Evening: Prime. Double cleanse, then layer hydration again. Use a face oil or overnight mask if your skin tolerates it. Early bedtime mandatory.
- Event Morning: Perfect. Ice cube on clean skin for one minute, then your gentlest moisturizer. Wait fifteen minutes before makeup. Your skin should feel plump, not tight.
