Anti-Pollution Skincare Routine
Layer antioxidants in the morning, double cleanse at night, and use barrier-strengthening ingredients to protect against environmental damage.
- Morning shield. Start with vitamin C serum on clean skin, then layer a moisturizer with niacinamide. Finish with broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher — pollution makes UV damage worse, so this step isn't negotiable.
- Evening detox. Double cleanse to remove the day's buildup — oil cleanser first to dissolve pollution particles, then water-based cleanser to clean your skin. Skip this and you're just pushing dirt deeper into your pores.
- Weekly reset. Use a gentle exfoliating acid like lactic acid once or twice a week to clear dead skin cells that trap pollutants. Follow with a hydrating mask to restore what the environment stripped away.
