How to Use a Cryo Roller for Face and Body
Roll the chilled metal tool in upward strokes across clean skin to reduce puffiness and temporarily tighten.
- Chill the roller. Keep your cryo roller in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before use. The metal needs to be genuinely cold to create the vasoconstriction effect that reduces puffiness.
- Start with clean skin. Cleanse your face completely and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of facial oil or serum if desired—this helps the roller glide smoothly and prevents tugging on delicate skin.
- Roll in sections. Begin at your jawline and roll upward toward your temples in firm, deliberate strokes. Move to your cheeks, rolling from your nose toward your ears, then finish with your forehead, rolling from your eyebrows to your hairline.
- Focus on problem areas. Spend extra time on puffy areas like under-eyes and along the jawline. Use gentle pressure—the cold does the work, not force.
- Clean immediately after. Wipe down the roller with alcohol or gentle cleanser to remove oils and bacteria. Return it to the refrigerator for next use.
