How to Do Facial Reflexology at Home
Facial reflexology uses gentle pressure on specific face points to promote circulation and relaxation through systematic finger movements.
- Start with clean hands and face. Wash your hands thoroughly and cleanse your face with your regular cleanser. Apply a light facial oil or moisturizer to create slip for your fingers and prevent dragging the skin.
- Begin at the center and work outward. Place your middle fingers between your eyebrows and apply gentle pressure for 3 seconds. Move outward along your brow bone in small circular motions, pressing each point for 2-3 seconds before moving to the next.
- Work the temple and jaw areas. Use your ring fingers to make small circles at your temples, then move down to your jawline. Press along the jaw from your ears toward your chin, spending extra time on any areas that feel tense.
- Address the cheek and under-eye zones. Use light upward strokes from your nasolabial folds toward your temples. For under-eyes, tap gently with your ring fingers from inner to outer corners, never pulling or dragging the delicate skin.
- Finish with neck and scalp. Use both hands to sweep from your collarbones up to your jawline with gentle pressure. End by massaging your scalp at the hairline with small circular motions for 30 seconds.
